Description

The SG503-2 series is a 5-port Gigabit switch module designed in an onboard 8-pin pin header configuration. It features high integration, compact dimensions, rich functionality, and user-friendly operation. Utilizing an embedded installation approach, the module allows users to customize the specifications of the carrier PCB and freely select Ethernet interface types via the module pins to meet diverse application requirements.
  SG503-2 has 5 full Gigabit adaptive ports. Ports 1-4 support IEEE 802.3af/at standard PoE power supply, with single port PoE power up to 30W.
  All ports of the switch support half-duplex flow control and full-duplex backpressure standards for increased bandwidth server and network protocol compatibility. In addition, LED indicators allow you to diagnose the operating status of individual ports and the entire system, making this product energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

Full Gigabit access, Gigabit uplink
  Supports Gigabit Ethernet ports for flexible networking to meet various scenarios; all ports support non-blocking wire-speed forwarding for smoother transmission. Supports IEEE 802.3x full-duplex flow control and Backpressure half-duplex flow control.
Optional intelligent PoE power supply function
  The four onboard 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports with 8-pin headers support Power over Ethernet (PoE), meeting the power supply requirements for applications such as security surveillance, teleconferencing systems, and wireless network deployment. When configured with standard PoE, the module complies with IEEE 802.3af/at standards, automatically detecting and supplying power to PoE-enabled devices without damaging non-PoE equipment. The maximum PoE output power per port is 30W. A port priority mechanism is also supported, ensuring continuous power delivery to higher-priority ports when the remaining power budget is insufficient, thereby preventing system overload.
Plug and play without configuration
  Support 10/100/1000M adaptive PH2.08PIN port, each port supports MDI/MDIX adaptive function Full wire-speed Gigabit switching capability, plug-and-play, no need to manage to ensure that all ports are forwarded without blocking.
  Users can easily know the working status of the device through the power indicator (PWR) and port status indicator (Link,L/A).
Cache data without loss
  Adopts store-and-forward mode, provides 10Gbps backplane bandwidth, and high-capacity cache, which effectively reduces data forwarding delay and improves forwarding efficiency to avoid data loss.
